Biography
Adam McBride is an accomplished IT Program/Project Manager with over 30 years of Federal Government experience. He currently serves as the Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) Program Manager at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), within the Program Support Center (PSC) in Rockville, MD. In this role, Adam oversees the HHS ICAM system, including the Next Generation External User Management System (XMS), which provides secure authentication and authorization for external users accessing HHS agency applications.
Under Adam’s leadership, XMS is being rebranded as HHS FedHub, a scalable solution designed to replace MAX Authentication for MAX.GOV and serve as a federal government-wide platform. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders within HHS and external partners, Adam ensures robust ICAM controls to enhance the security and efficiency of HHS applications.
