Biography
Hari Iyer holds a PhD degree in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame and a PhD degree in Statistics from Colorado State University. He was a professor of Statistics at Colorado State University (1980-2010) and Information Analytics Fellow at Caterpillar Inc. (2008-2012). He is currently a Mathematical Statistician in the Statistical Engineering Division (SED) under the information technology laboratory (ITL) at NIST. He is a fellow of the American Statistical Association and Professor Emeritus at Colorado State University. His current interests include measurement science, foundations of uncertainty, uncertainty quantification, Generative AI testing and evaluation (member of the NIST GenAI team in the Information Access Division).
